I am a specialist Autism/SEND teacher. I have been working with autistic children and adults since 2013. I currently work in a complex needs primary school in Bexley. In 2023, I completed a Master’s degree in Education (Autism) at London South Bank University. I am also the mother of an autistic boy who has learning disabilities, and I consider myself a non-diagnosed autistic woman.
I am passionate about sharing my experience and expertise with other families. I would like to offer you a set of tools that enable you to support your child in the best possible way. I will share with you techniques for working with children to support their communication, development and independence.
After the initial assessment, in cooperation with parents, I will design a personalised support programme for your child, based on their needs and abilities, focusing on the their strengths, and incorporating their interests.
I would like to commend Aggie Kraska Carter for the understanding of sensory processing necessary to deliver TACPAC, the sensory communication resource. Using the 2 sensory languages of touch and music, Aggie has a personal and indepth knowledge of the benefits of the sequencing, repetition and reliability of the alignment of these 2 languages. I wish her well in her endeavours to support others in how to use Tacpac, for regulation, relationship and relief.
